Hook & loop or PSA: choose the right backing
The attachment system is as important as the grit. Match it to the pad before you order.
Start with the requirement
Hook & loop discs mount onto a compatible hook-faced pad and suit operations where grit is changed often. PSA discs rely on pressure-sensitive adhesive and need a clean, flat pad. The two systems are not interchangeable.
Confirm compatibility
Confirm pad diameter, backing type and dust-extraction layout. A non-hole disc does not connect to a hole-based extraction pattern, and open-mesh discs need a compatible pad and extraction system.
Prepare your enquiry
Include disc diameter, backing, grit list, quantity per grit and workpiece material. Ask for a sample evaluation before approving a production order.
